Sarah Shick is an artist based in east Tennessee. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Painting and Drawing while maintaining her teaching license for grades K-12 in the visual arts. Upon graduating, she has taught in multiple positions and even offered private tutoring lessons for those wishing to grow as artists.

After multiple years of education experience, Sarah wanted to take the meaning of "art" to a whole new level by creating artworks that others could touch and experience - bringing "life" to something that most consider "still." Therefore, she created her own business entitled "Living Artworks" to promote her artworks as well as her talent. Her life-like drawings have encouraged her to utilize texture in her works in an impasto style of painting to provide a dreamlike, or surrealist, experience for her customers.

Sarah's is dedicated to helping others see the world through the gift that God has given her through drawing and painting. Her artworks are created with love and passion. Her prayer is that each piece she makes would reach the hearts and souls of those she creates them for. She encourages others to interact with her peices by touching and feeling the shapes, colors, and even the movements in her work that are often just viewed when standing in front of them on display in a gallery.

As this is her mission, it is our goal to carry out her vision in our company - Living Artworks. We wish to ensure that our handmade products make their way into the hearts and homes of those who love and enjoy her art. We pray that each piece is a great reminder to you that we serve a "Living" God.
